  1. My Oncologists are condescending towards me. I've already changed doctors once and I don't think I should have to go thru every doctor in the state to find one who will treat me with respect. When does it stop being solely my responsibility to heal regardless of how I'm treated?

  2. Thank you. I especially like turning the judgemental question of “what is wrong with you” into a validating “what happened to you?” It’s more humanizing, validating and emotionally safe.

  3. Abuse and discrimination is hard to talk about it with health care professionals but it doesn't have to be that way unless we can prevent aces from being a problem. The sooner we can help someone with aces such as abuse and discrimination the less stressful the health care professionals in the health care facilities can be.

  4. Thank you for this video. I wish there were more obgyn doctors trained in Trauma Informed Care so patients would not be "judged" or written off as crazy, or difficult. When that happens they are retraumatized and the pattern continues with each new doctor if an original doctor's notes are judgmental, This results in patients not going to doctors at all. Thank you so much for this video.
