Personally, I feel like humans closely followed by energy are the most valuable resources out there. But even at 20+ Billion, I think that’s emergency and sets the political will to develop better habitable places in the solar system. The Moon, Mars’, basically… all the places they hung out in The Expanse. But also, maybe we might need a Bond villain to do something about population control.

It would not have to look like this, because there are 11 billion cultivated acres on earth. That means 10 people to an acre. (most estimates place 1 acre being able to feed 100-1000 people).
