  1. Playing this now. Gameplay is fun. Story feels pretty meh. I do think it’s sort of funny that in the name of diversity and inclusion, it’s ok to make a lot of the antagonists be women of color, blah blah. But they all still have a rather English accent and I find that hilarious. It’s like the irony is lost on the SJW weirdos pervading Lucasfilm. In the name of being progressive, they take away the whole sexist and racist thing the empire of old was known for but they fail to realize they are still stereotyping English speaking people as cold and evil. Like pick your white knight hill to die on, I guess.

  2. Damm, I've never though I am going to symphatise with the imperials, but that flying freak-show of the rebels is so riddiculous! I found myself skipping all chats, and focus only on the imperial side. They are relatable, this junk is not.

  3. Looks cool. Too bad it doesn't have the full VR experience with the motion controllers. That was the main feat I was looking forward to using, hence my urge of buying it to the lowest level since my expectations weren't exceeded. I'll see if I change my mind whenever I get tired of battlefront II.

  4. yeah EA dump that account login rubbish.
tried logging in with my old ea origin account, no luck ,tried resetting the password, account expired or not found.
tried creating a new account, after ages with those stupid annoying captcha things, problem at EA's end servers down, cant create account, rinse repeat, stuff that, went for immediate refund, absolute garbage.

  5. Back in the days of Tie Fighter from Lucas Arts as well as its predecessor and sequel, the regular Tie Fighter's toughness was nowhere near the level of how much damage an X-Wing can withstand. The standard, non-advanced, non interceptor or bomber essentially had no deflector shield protection. IIRC, it might not have been one shot kills territory, but it was close.
I just find it strange that here for this game they decided to make it comparable to the X-Wing, for game balance no doubt, but when you're working on anything Star Wars related you oughta take into account the fact that you are dealing with nerds who care about adherence to established facts, plots, etc., angry nerds who have nothing better to do than write comments that go on and on about how angry they are that anyone would ever dare, either through ignorance or audacity, to ignore established rules and truths of the Star Wars universe, which as the chosen few know is actually a documentary (Just the first two movies plus Rogue One – everything else is Hollywood garbage and using special effects and actors who resemble the actual historical figures from that far away galaxy. Sorry far, far away.) disguised as movies so as not to upset societal norms, organized religions and other groups that keep social mores in place and functional.
These are desperate, sad people, delusional I imagine who feel robbed and entitled to some unobtainable perfection from a franchise that they feel consistently fails them, further increasing their disillusionment and disappointment; they look to SW to compensate their dissatisfaction with their lives, many having been children of the 1980's US culture that promised a near utopian future, excess that would never bring about consequences and never end, and when they grew up to have none of their dreams fulfilled, if they even had any dreams to begin with, they become further angered and just drone on and on about how everything they ever loved sucks now and how music sucks and Star Wars sucks and HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU MAKE THE TIE FIGHTERS AS TOUGH AS THE X-WINGS WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY?!?

  6. Thank you PS plus for giving out for free or else I would of never played it. I swore I would never buy it because it doesn't have the full VR experience without the motion controller. Now I have no choice, but to play it since it's free 😂

  7. I must be lost in time, someone clear it up? Arent imperials supposed to be clones? I got it all confused from the other Star Wars trailer for the film where Finn takes off his helmet. I heard they take other people other than clones, a small backdrop from what i heard, in the newer movies, but then again, isnt this in the past? Unsure

  8. Everything is perfect 👌! Everything looks amazingly realistic! However, the human and alien faces ( especially skin texture and hair), and also clothes fabrics – are still a Holly Graal for VFX professionals…

  9. Had to stop playing the game when evolved prepoting Modern Slavery (Refugees) and the prodigious of synthetic Cannabis (Spice) for the Chines communiist party. ZIONIST CRONY CAPITALISM??

  10. I thought I could choose between Imperial and Rebel story. I wanted to be the bad guy first time out. When I figured I got forced into a blended campaign I quit. It is Disney after all, so should have guessed as much. Didn't really expect a game where I shot down refugee transports. Good thing I didn't pay for it… gamepass ftw.
