  1. Wonderful people doing wonderful things. This transformation was breathtaking. To work tirelessly, taking care of his medical and emotional needs goes to this woman's fine character. When Ryker began to "talk", you hear the growl but see his tail wagging! So happy for him to live the life he deserves. Thank goodness that there are selfless people willing to clean up the messes that these a-holes create. A-holes that shouldn't have goldfish, let alone a dog.

  2. What happened to him at the start? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿ˜ก That sure as hell looked like intentional neglect. So, what 3rd World Negligent American let him get that way? Yeah, this isnt the 3rd World. Even if you're broke you can contact a shelter for assistance. Its easier to manage a skin issue earlier than later, same for internal parasites, and poor nutrition. If you're genuinely broke, local groups may provide food. Basic vet care might be doable through a shelter. Also there is Care Credit. To claim ignorance is no excuse. His issues look like they were easily and affordably preventable. His recovery! Look at him! Nice and normal now! Such a character ๐Ÿ˜.

  3. I own a big goofy male husky too named MONSTER who is also a rescue pup. Ryker spoke to u when he did cause he knew u was there to help him an u made him feel comfortable. I keep watching this over and over lol So much love u showed him makes my heart so big โค๏ธโค๏ธ

  4. Omg, this breaks my heart. Domesticated animals can't survive on their own. They need human assistance. And for someone to abuse an animal(yes negligence is abuse) is horrific. The owner wouldn't want someone to give up on them if they were in a bad condition. Humans don't deserve dogs.

  5. I hope the vet reported the person who starved and treated Ryker so inhumanely and that the person is in jail — although I doubt it. If more states enforced animal cruelty laws and offered safe havens for animals their "owners" no longer care for, then maybe we would see less of this suffering. To the people that helped him and thousands? of animals, well done… you have made an incredible difference in this world

  7. "his previous owner wanted him to be euthanized", seriously, what a prick. it's kind of obvious that the previous owner is responsible for his condition, who cearly had NO idea that a husky is not some random dogo you can have sitting at your home.

  8. Well, if stringent laws are brought in across the globe regarding pet ownership, less pets will be treated badly. Under a so- called free to do as you like system. It will continue and it applies to all types of animals.

  9. Amazing transformation. The person that asked for that poorly cared for (and I'm being nice saying poorly cared for) to be put down should face charges for animal cruelty. Anyways, he looks happy now ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Some that we call people aren't really people, They are ๐Ÿ‘ฟ๐Ÿ‘ฟ. Dogs are so awesome.โคโคโค๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡
People that help these babies are heroes.

  11. Watching him transform into a beautiful husky was amazing to see. I adopted a cat who had been starved and he was skin and bones with rough short hair and dull yellow eyes. After 6 months, he gained 16 lbs and his fur grew like crazy until he had a mane and fluff everywhere. His eyes turned green! We found out he was half maine coon. Coolest experience of my life.

  12. I have a husky that I took in when he was two years old, but I was the third owner. He never had a bath in his life, still doesnโ€™t like baths, lol. He was distance and didnโ€™t want any love.
It took me a year to get a close bond with him. Heโ€™s my boy. He likes to speak now, and is a lover boy.
I love the stories you share. Iโ€™d take them all, if I could.

  13. I won't waste to much energy on WHY and HOW pathetic, was his previous owner to be this cruel! I'm just grateful to people that help innocent animals and that foster them, nurse them back to health, and find them, their forever home.

So happy for Ryker. Even though he was totally broken; and yet, he still had the WILL to continue on and that spark in his beautiful eyes. โค๏ธ

Every animal, should be in a home, where they're loved, appreciated, happy and safe. โค๏ธ Happy that Ryker, had a second chance at life. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•โค๏ธ

  14. OMG! When the clip started I just could not believe he was a husky. I just do not get it. Why get any animal and then abuse it like that? I hope his previous owners never get another living creature for the rest of their lives. What a beautiful dog he turned out to be. Why they forgive humans is beyond me. I have a 13 year old rescued Chihuahua. Someone threw him out on the street at 2 years old. Who does that? he was all of 6 pounds. Ryker and my Yoda are the lucky ones. How many don't make it?

  15. People who don't know the dog can interrupt that growl as aggressive.
My alaskian malamute makes the same noise when he's playing or wants you to play with him. It's an " I'm happy let's play noise" lol.

  16. By the looks of it the veteranarian should have called the police and reported the owner after he left. Imagine if he had more dogs or how many he has in that condition.
Dogs are the best, animals don't deserve this cruelty.
& before I forget. Thank you. Thank you for giving that lovely soul a chance. ๐Ÿฅฐ
You're one of the good ones ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  17. Majority of people base purchases on "how cool will I look walking this dog down the street" when they need to base it on breed research and how much time and care a specific breed requires.

  18. Ryker is a beautiful husky! My god, why would you euthanize this gorgeous dog who wants to live? Shame on humans to treat God's creatures with cruelty and starvation ๐Ÿคฌ. Million thanks to the compassionionate foster mom who brought life and joy back in to Ryker. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐ŸŒŽ

  19. There some cruel people out there, who to my mind should not be anywhere near these precious animals, what a lovely ending for this beautiful dog who is now with a lovely family a d bless you Foster patents for all that you do, God bless ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒน

  20. For me, it is no "accident" that dog is GOD spelled backwards…..So glad Ryker is in an amazing space with parents and a brother that love him. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™

  21. Bless you all and thank you for helping and saving him ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿพโญ•๏ธโŒ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜ข. Itโ€™s just heartbreaking ๐Ÿ’” that people can mistreat and neglect such innocent animals.

  22. This story made me cry. Thank you foster parents and new parents for all your love ๐Ÿ’˜ and dedication. You make a huge difference in the world!! โค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’Ÿโฃ๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’๐Ÿค Lots and lots of hugs for Ryker and his furry friend Hillary ๐Ÿ’—
