Yeah, with you – the voice doesn't quite work. Happier with his use in Bohemian Rhapsody; perfect that he be there, OK that he didn't have a singing part.
If you've been used to Kermit's voice since '89, I'm damn sure Rowlf's new voice won't become an issue in years to come.

I'm not used to Kermit's new voice. I just accept that without Kermit, there's no Muppets. Someone made the decision at some point that Rowlf was the Jim Henson Muppet, and didn't mess with that till now.
Please don't misunderstand; this doesn't detract from my Muppet love; I'm a lifelong fan, and I'm happy to see new Muppets, regardless. Just saying… this felt weird.

He's been around, though they did gradually ease him back into speaking parts. First re-appearance was in the Muppet Christmas Carol. Rolf's one of my favourites ^_^
