RAW VIDEO: Truck leads police on chase out of southeast Houston

Police arrested a driver and passengers at gunpoint after pursuing a white pickup through the southeast side of Houston.

It’s not known what prompted the chase that started just after 5 p.m. After about 30 minutes, the driver stopped on a feeder road.

The chase was mainly on surface streets before entering Highway 225 during Friday afternoon rush hour. The driver was occasionally driving on the wrong side of the road.

The reporter is doing what he is paid to do which is sensationalize and keeps reminding us that law officers do not want to hurt innocent people,so there were numerous times when a group of police cars could have gotten ahead of him and blocked him from moving,however that takes the drama away.

  4. did you see the white trucks at the end, maybe that was his buddy's going try to be decoys just kidding three of them looked like it, and a forth one was a dully (5 total )

  5. I think if I lived in Houston where the mayor is cutting back on fireman & or policeman I wouldn’t have so many policemen
    Chasing a bad guy like this. This is coming from a town that’s been cut back & we’re not doing well. Hope it all works out.

Be complete concrete, curbs, and sewer 8 ln feeder rds (4 lns one way) along 225 and 610! Then exit ramps after intersections and entrance ramps before intersections! Allen-Genoa at 225 becomes a concrete grade level express rd with parallel below grade level feeder rds! Too be interchange ramps on 225 and Allen-Genoa! While that person can drive under those raised bldgs and the helicopter can't fly under those raised bldgs!
