1:46 graphic of car shows a newer A or B class (based on the steering wheel style, vents, and widescreen mbux) and they don't need an adapter 😉 Should have used a graphic of an older Mercedes.

I really don't get this, the functionality is virtually nil?
– View vehicle mileage and fuel – this is available on the dash everytime the vehicle is started…
– Route, distance and time taken – again, available on the dash, or phone sat nav.
– Reminders – great, another reminder app!
– Accident and Breakdown – there's a QR sticker already on every vehicle, or a simple phone call
– Retailer Contact – phone already has this…
– Park & Find – the only "new" feature, brilliant for folks that habitually forget where they park!
If it displayed engine and service data, error codes or warnings, that would be worth installing. But of the 6 advertised features, only 1 is actually new, and it is pretty pointless for the majority of users. Love gadgets, but this is pointless.
I have the New Mercedes A class do I need this gadget ?
I bought this device first time 5 years ago and used it on my 1000 euro old car. Mercedes Benz started to use it now. So big progress 😷😆

is there any functionality on Vclass 2019? the van is connected to internet and MercedesMe app can lock the car. Would this provide and other functionality like start engine remotley? close windows?

Not sure what’s wrong but I can’t link up at the app to Mercedes’ server – I keep getting the prompt “IBN_E005”
I ended up here because my Samsung S10 couldn't pair with the adapter, it didn't recognise it, hahahahaha. The funny part is that I asked the service manager to mount the adapter prior, ergo no one can blame me. So I keep stuffing around with it – keeps me busy. If I can't solve it, I'm going to see him 2morrow.
