As a model brother of the G 63 AMG 6×6 the new “G” blends all the advantages of the model series with a considerably increased performance. The engine compartment houses a completely new V8 engine with a displacement of four litres, direct injection and biturbocharging. Next to V8 power there is a newly-developed variable chassis , which offers a perfect symbiosis of sporty dynamism and relaxed comfort on the road and off it. The new G 500 4×4 ² always reaches the highest offroad performance, thanks to the permanent four-wheel drive and the proven portal axles.

  17. I cant remember but I think it was in 2014 group of tourists with G 500 traveled in Tajikistan, Pamir. I suggest Mercedes Benz team to shoot a video in Pamir highway (Ancient Silkroad). As G 500 is Offroad car it would be great see the legend G500 4X4 in Pamir mountains.

  28. You look at this and think……why did they make that strange x class pickup?

    Surely they could have made a real pickup that would compete with a F-150 raptor. Instead they gave us an x class that looks like a Nissan pickup. I heard it's based off the same platform too, as the Nissan.

  49. Another very disappointing commercial-film by MB-G-wagen. This not have anything to do with off-roading. They try to present off-roading (and. of course, driving a G-class) as a thrilling thing, but off-roading driving hasn´t anything in that line. Driving that way in mountain conditions like that, is suicide… I can´t believe that, in order to "marketing" a product, that is presented as something that´s not real. I cant´believe that MB is doing this… They should be presenting off-roading in the way it is in real life, or at least at the way it should be, apointing to safety and environmet-friendly thinking and driving. Off-roading it is not "Paris-Dakkar" in every turn of every corner and every place… This is pure non-sense… This seems to be made by a bunch of fan-boys… (sorry if I been rude)

  55. Ye—s, Mercedes got the most sturdy and powerful heart of the engine. So why not have a Cherokeeish shell to have a wile fun in our globe. That will be icing sugar on the cake. The best of the best fun, I'd say..Give me a beefy car instead like a soggy Land Rover with a weak heart and flaccid muscle. You know .;)………………………….. STF………………………………………………
