The move has led to an outpouring of nostalgia among lovers of the Ambassador.

  2. The first car ever to travel on as a passenger, and it could hold 5 in front and about 8 in the rear seat. Amazing experience indeed. The driver almost sat at all to accommodate more passengers. The memory of a legacy.

  3. I still use my ambassador and I'm in love with her. It's a car with character and it's like an imotion for Indias. Our government is now planning to introduce some law that may affect those cars above 15 years and I think it will be a serious trouble for ambassador car owning people.

  4. They were a disgusting and horrible in all possible ways. Only good thing was that rear seat. I don’t know how it survived after MNC carmakers came. It was years behind in technology and survived only because it had a monopoly, if India had opened the markets earlier. Nobody would buy this junk. When the outside world had so many choices, we Indians had only this piece of shit, because of a hair brained socialist mentality government of the era.

  5. I Really proud to own this Beauty….my dad's have one. 1978 model i think….30 years he lived with us…. R.I.P my Bumblebee….. I really miss her 😭😭😔😔😔
