The detailed aerodynamic work also includes the now almost fully panelled underbody, which must not only meet aerodynamic requirements, but thermal ones as well (heat dissipation). The flat underbody is equipped with specially designed longitudinal fins. These air channellers have been meticulously optimised to ensure optimal air flow to the rear diffuser. The entire package accelerates air flow, significantly increasing downforce. All measures are coordinated and interact with the new rear aerofoil concept. The result of all these measures is a downforce level of well over 400 kilogrammes at 250 km/h.

  13. Ugly back wing in the rear Mercedes👎 you should be more careful in designing, supercars. They are pricey, and so should be the aesthetics Sharp and beautiful.

  35. Mercedes is in a higher level than Porsche. Porsche is awesome, but Mercedes went to race in F1 where it s the highest level, Porsche can't make it F1, that's why they only participated once with TAG, but they were afraid of failing than never named their engine Porsche.

    F1 is where the best are, if you don't go there, I can't put you in the same level as the ones that have been and succeeded.

    I'm tired of seeing Mercedes winning formula 1. They too superior to others. Hamilton is lucky to be driving for them, many could've delivered what he did.

  84. the car weight is circa 1.700kg and it throw back 1kg of carbon dioxide every 3km. so mathematically if am not wrong when you drive 20.000km per year you throw back the car weight equivalent in Carbon every 3 months. What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I drive this for a year I'll be putting 7.3 tons of carbon in the air! 1000 GT running at the same time and there you go 7000 tons per year plus a huge hole over your head. Na ja I know rarely when those cars run over 20.000km in there entire life but so confused with those numbers which I never thought about. The best or nothing – I mean the best hole plz XD

  99. When i was a teenager, i though BMW was the brand, Audi were the best around.
    And then i grew up to realize that Mercedes-Benz when they want to, top everything thing in sight.
