Wealthy Jill Nolan has a fantasy to recreate her high school years with her best friends and former Honey Bee Cheerleaders; Carol De Angelo, now the mother of two children, Agnes Wentworth, a legal secretary, and Hanna Baker, who writes jokes for game shows. Roarke takes them back to Jill’s house, where the girls used to go ten years ago. Little do they know one of them is harboring a dark secret that will turn their fantasy into a nightmare. The girls are sitting around the fireplace talking about their lives when Hanna has flashbacks of when she was fourteen and raped. Suddenly the wind starts up and it begins to rain and thunder. Aggie screams, thinking she saw a face in the window. That evening when all the girls are in bed; Aggie awakens when she hears a growling, laughing sound and they all get up to investigate. The mantel now has four cheerleader dolls with the writing “die” on the wall above. The girls walk back to their rooms and find one is in a shambles. They turn to notice that Hanna is missing, and as they look out the door Hanna is seen running, and the girls chase after her. Hanna enters the garage and it explodes with her inside. When they return to the house one of the doll heads is broken and the phone lines cut. Later, the thunder and rain gets louder and suddenly a window breaks. The kitchen is in flames. The girls work quickly to put out the fire and the lights go out. Carol backs up and falls several stories through a window, and two dolls are left. on the mantel. Aggie and Jill are in shock. As Aggie backs towards a door, a masked person grabs her around the neck and Roarke appears holding back the masked man. When the mask is removed, Hanna is revealed. Carol walks back into the house, confused and shocked. Hanna arranged the fantasy and there was never a killer. She had blamed her friends for her rape and another bad experience during her school initiation. Hanna left school and spent sometime in a sanitarium to recover, but apparently never did. Tom and Toni Elgin arrive on Fantasy Island to become the perfect match they were eight years ago. Tom has become an alcoholic and given up his law practice. Tom ‘s fantasy is to relive the day before their wedding and the happiness they once knew. Roarke takes them to their wedding party where they are greeted by Cap Truman, a dear old friend and Nona Sunnier, who is now divorced for the third time, and Toni’s old boyfriend Joe Huston, the Dupres and other guests. Tom continues to drink as usual, and the minister arrives. Tom begins to make a fool out of himself and once again after eight years, Joe defends Toni and punches Tom. The Reverend tells them he was brought to the island to inform them when he married them eight years ago it was not legal. Tom just laughs and tells Toni that’s perfect, because they don’t have to get a messy divorce. Later Tom tells Toni that he doesn’t want to get remarried and goes off with Nona. The following day, Toni goes to Tom’s room because she still loves him and wants to try to work things out. As she approaches his door, she hears Nona asking Tom to take her with him. Tom admits he is in love with his wife and their life has become a merry-go-round because of his drinking. Toni opens the door and asks Nona to leave them alone. Tom admits he is sick and needs help and Toni says that is what wives are for. They hold each other close and later are pronounced Man and Wife.
