  1. Everything IS the light — Nichola Tesla
Jeff Vandermeer has put forth a most profound and intriguing story that inspires thought upon the nature of life, which could not exist without death – the most profound thing about it.
Top syfi and Natalie Portman too!

  2. Wow! Sorry. After all that, no ending? Really? If you haven't seen it yet, think twice. Well done , but incomplete. See at your own risk. Moving? No. Aggravating is more like it.

  3. Okay I got the meaning, the afterlife. When the one girl embrassed it she became it, the other two one wanted to face it, and the other made it home because she wanted to be with her husband again. The 3 doors interpretation on a spiritual level given to us after death. Those who fought death lost their lives to it. So tell me? How you know so much about the afterlife? Which one of you illuminati members journey to the forbidden kingdom. Yeah, I'm the exception, I'm from the darkness. Who breaking the rules and playing around on earth with things you shouldn't. Naughty naughty…

  4. For folks who like this kind of thing, another really good choice would be "Another Earth". It doesn't have the disturbing aspects of this one, but the same mystical ambience and tingly sci-fi vibe.

  5. YT has played all the videos I've clicked on. Some had been removed, but there was a statement to that effect on the screen, and they wouldn't play at all.

But this is the first time I've gotten no picture, only pitch black. The audio is perfect, nothing seems amiss except having a picture.

I guess I'll find movies elsewhere.

  6. I'm sorry, I gave this movie the same shot I give every movie. You get 15 or so minutes to draw me in, at least a little, and make me want to watch more. 18 minutes in and I am twiddling my thumbs, drumming my fingers, and wondering what else is available. The acting is, at best, wooden, the script is abysmal, and the end result is so predictable that you would need to be a character in this movie to not already see what is going to happen. I don't know why there are people gushing over this, but it holds no interest for me.

  7. Perfect opportunity to have Natalie Portman entirely nude… and you give us a silver doppelganger. Not even a hairy bush? Side boob? Common her rack is on point. I be she has a great bush.

  8. Great job 👍. The scientific. It's possible. I love anything to do with what if. The gene mutates in exposure of this phenomenon. Something much more different than radiation. It has the power to replace the message to the gene to do something totally different. Like replacement of life it's self.

  9. WOW ! Finally a Great Movie! Well done in every way! Tons of symbolism!! About being human and how everyone struggles with reality! Whew! Im going to take a break and watch it again! Dont pass this one by! It is a thriller! So fasten your seat belts!

  10. "Helplessly Hoping"

    [Intro. (Acoustic Guitar)]

Helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers nearby

    Awaiting a word

Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit he runs

    Wishing he could fly

Only to trip at the sound of goodbye

Wordlessly watching he waits by the window and wonders

    At the empty place inside

Heartlessly helping himself to her bad dreams he worries

    Did he hear a good-bye?

    Or even hello?

    They are one person

    They are two alone

    They are three together

    They are for each other

Stand by the stairway you'll see something certain to tell you

    Confusion has its cost

Love isn't lying it's loose in a lady who lingers

    Saying she is lost

    And choking on hello

    They are one person

    They are two alone

    They are three together

    They are for each other

    [Ending (Acoustic Guitar)]

  11. You'll enjoy this movie even more of you've watched: V for Vendetta, Thor: Love and Thunder, Moon Knight and Westworld.

V got a skin graft to become Moon Knight, Mjolnir is waiting inside the Shimmer and Hale's trying to steal the technology for WESTWORLD! 🤘🐲🤘

  12. Wow, if this is was passes for sci-fi these days…..I'm just glad I saw it for free and didn't waste any money in the theater. Boring at best — just really lame.

  13. End of the age Bible prophecy is being perfectly fulfilled at a dizzying rate.if you do not know the Author of Peace, the 1st & 3rd chapters of the Gospel of John (KJV) clearly describes Messiah’s exclusive and loving plan for redemption & eternal Salvation. All the fear leaves. Maranatha

  14. What everyone said really is true and how in the beginning it was showing you atoms (I think atoms/molecules) coming together 2 makes 4 and so on then in the end wen Ventress? The team leader dies you can see on a molecular level (atleast that was my perception) of her atoms splitting apart the reverse from the beginning scene….it really does make you want to ask those questions about self destruction going in there bc she “owed” him due to guilt etc out of loyalty but it wasn’t even her Cane that emerged. Really interesting concept & thought provoking

  15. So glad Natalie destroyed the 'alien'; good thing she met George so she'd be the one to destroy the fantasy that makes this outside forces, the light of day!

    PURE RETARDED wanna be reality!
    Tired of this STUPIDNESS!

  16. A poor copy of H P Lovecraft's "Color Out Of Space". All of these people praising this as great horror are clearly not versed in the genre. Interesting visuals but nothing new or actually frightening. The group of women are so woke as to be laughable. Low brow sci fi/horror with decent cgi and visuals.

  17. Interesting new setting, new ideas, excellent acting. With an actual plot, good dialog and absolutely no prolonged boring cgi battles between aliens and mutants. I love this movie!

  18. I read that this movie was not released in theaters because the final producer thought it needed to be dumbed down but the creators did not want to dumb it down anymore and they got in a stalemate. If this movie was dumbed down anymore, it would not be a good movie at all. Dumbing down movies is what makes them bad. Created complex and intricate movies where people need to watch them several times to pick up more stuff is what makes a movie awesome.

  19. Really no haze mat suit, no dedicated breathing apparatus, not even a freaking gas mask..

They know very well that nothing has gone in and come back out and they walk in with nothing..
Short of standard clothing some rifles, and tents food some bullshit survival gear.

Yet when they interview they are in full hazmat gear..

    This movie is stupid..

No wonder it wasn't popular a garbage movie on the whole.

A travesty to the actors that had to act this out.

    The writers should be fired.

  20. I've been in love w natalie portperson since Leon the professional. we're the same age and I watched Leon maybe a year after it was originally released. shes an absolute goddess of scifi comparable to Sigourney Weaver. untouchable

  21. "You're not gonna be able to see a lawyer"
Literally everything after this line has zero immersion. No real american citizen would have no reaction to that. The only believable reaction to that line is violent billegernece to the death.

    It actually ruins the movie.

Instant suspension of disbelief irrevocbaly broken.

  22. This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the packs were actually heavy and the actors handled them like seasoned pros. Along with everything else, it gave the movie a much more real feel to it.

  23. Wow. I haven't had a movie mess with my head like this since "What Dreams May Come". This is disturbing as hell, but I have to finish it. ( I'm at 1:30:33)…
End credits rolling now, I really don't know what to say. Good heavens, what a film. It was beautiful and terrible (in a good way). I wonder what my dreams will be like tonight?
That's IF I can get to sleep. My insomnia is going to be in overdrive for sure.

  24. I might have missed something but I thought I've seen this plot done better many times before. That being the protagonist goes on a seemingly suicidal mission due to self destructive tendencies/the belief they have to make up for something in their past. After losing many of their group they make it to their goal and save the world.

Overall I felt it stretched the self destruction thing and the questions it posed to the audience were weak at best. The plot holes definitely didn't help

I'm missing the hype of the majority of the comments.

  25. Legit one of my favorite movies. The books are more insane (there's a kaijuu in full regalia) but this is the essence of Cosmic Horror genre (strange unknowable things, doing strange unknowable acts), not films like "The Void".
