Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is almost upon us , bringing unique touches and gameplay changes as the series steps into the industrialized 19th century. It’s the latest in a line of games that each did something to shake up the series, and some of the biggest changes came with the appropriately revolution-themed Assassin’s Creed III. Reshaping combat and free-running, Assassin’s Creed III set us loose in the American frontier, gave us a taste of naval combat and let us hang enemies from trees with rope darts.
