Did you know this in the amazing digital circus?
During episode 4 we got to see another side of jax and it explains his character alot, let me explain.
So throughout the episode jax seems more irritable than usual. This could mean he worked at a fast food restaurant when he was alive, so working there in the circus brings back the memories for him.
Midway through jax stops by pomni to ask how she’s doing. This weirds out pomni who doesn’t quite know how to react, before jax has to go back to work saying bye to her.
Personally i loved this scene and it shines a light on his true personality. Jax has been so absorbed in his cartoon persona where he messes around so much to the point where he forgot how to be normal. So when he finally works a normal job and has actual consequences to his actions, he finally acts normal.
Pomni is also the most rational out of the group, so she’s the one he immediately went to to have a normal conversation.
I think this hints at what will happen during episode 6. If jax finally lost his persona and became genuine friends with the rest of the cast i think that would be a great character arc for him.
