Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President, Republic of Ghana addresses the general debate of the 76th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (New York, 21-27 September 2021).

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. Currently made up of 193 Member States, the UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter.

The UN has evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world.

But one thing has stayed the same: it remains the one place on Earth where all the world’s nations can gather together, discuss common problems, and find shared solutions that benefit all of humanity.

  1. The ministry will show that we are playing in France, do you know what climate change means for Western leaders in Africa? In term climate games what Europe and the United States is planning to reduce black populations especially African populations, they say that there are many people on earth that is why it produces global warming, then political games what this Eurocup others of the world are games revealed to put embargo Chinese products or Russian to be able to be leaders of the economies, it means that it is a way to control commercial systems and economies without the United States or Europe, you have to move the earth at all, fake European political games, Africa Africans we should not find out inside, climate games is not a problem from Africa much less from Mali, Mali's concern today is to abandon European armies our country, I repeat, we leave within false actions raised the European countries, we do not follow, we do not let it not manipulate against ourselves, by the way I say the European countries but the United States is always leader all cowardice

  2. The number of deaths in Africa is most likely understated. The world counter site shows 200 000 African deaths and roughly 8 million cases. We know that there's a 1% average death rate for the original strain of the virus. So that would seem to indicate at least 20 million cases for the virus. With respect to the President of Ghana's statement about the vaccine. The Astra Zeneca vaccine never applied for US approval from the FDA, or it would be accepted in more countries. Several countries allow people to get other vaccines, if they need them for travel regulations.

  3. Gana reviving Pan Fricanism of kuame Nekruma.I wish all African leaders would follow this Path and get rid off the western Neocolonialism . DR. ABEY OF ETHIOPIA HAS CLEARLY STATED HIS DREAMS ON AFRICA. AFRICA IS THE RICHEST CONTINENT IN AUR WORLD BUT OUR NATURAL WEALTH BEING STALLEN BYWESTERNERS AND WE REMAIN POOR UNABLE TO FEED OURSELVES. .
    SO Africa must unite .

  4. For all you people that think that this is an awesome speech this is really a Classic example of a president selling out his Country in plain sight… He said he welcomes the I.M.F. … When you deal business with the I.M.F. (WORLD BANK CONNECTED TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND BANK OF ENGLAND) Your country will Acquire MASSIVE DEBT. RESULT IS HYPER INFLATION and Your people WILL STARVE! GHANA IS DOOMED AND ANY OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRY THAT FOLLOWS WILL ALLWAYS BE POOR

"We want to build economies that are not dependent on charities & handouts. Long and bitter experience has taught us no matter how generous the charity, we would remain poor. “

አፍሪካ ከእንቅልፏ እየነቃች ነው! ዘመኑ የአፍሪካ ነው!

    ፓን አፍሪካኒዝም ይለምልም!

  6. a day will come when the history of Africa will be told, not as the europeans and americans wrote it, but the true and only history of Africa will be the one written by Africans.

  7. That speech & those words ladies and gentlemen , is nothing but an iron fist with a velvet touch. A special thank you to Mr. President ADDO for his kind words for the Indian vaccine. May he live the active life the African community necessarily need.

  8. This man is a dictator. When he came to power he got rid of all radio stations that were in favour of the opposition. When his own youth saw his hypocracy and started to criticise his govt. They were killed. Ghanians are living in more fear than ever b4. Even people abroad he wants them silenced. He has beautiful words but he hate any opposition.

  9. The same people acting like peace keepers are the same people undermining Africa progress. UN And WHO are not for Africans. They are their to protect the interests of the west. For 600 years Africans minerals have being robbed by this organisation. We need to wake up and face reality. Africa has no friends but just looters who pretend to be partners

  10. The western society has bled Africa/Ghana dry…. They have no choice but to die as heroes or live longer to become villains & thrive with the western society. We all can choose to stand up before it gets worse.. Presidents are dying across the globe & it isn’t being broadcasted unless you search or hear it from someone.

  11. As our Bible said,"if Brothers (we Africans) seat together no earthly power can hold our strong fist". May pan-Africanism prevail!!

  12. Love this Ghanaian President. Please Africa be carful with words like "build back better" We have found these words to be code words for one world order. Just please be careful. We need Africa to be strong and to understand the world needs you and what God placed in your land naturally. Africa is in the best possible position, it is why the rest of the world continues to try and take out the leaders. If Africa pulls together truly with each other you would have the rest of the world on their knees. God may you all the best continent on the planet, but you must know it and don't try to be like the western world we are finally starting to see the false hood of the western world. The western world is a fake. Love you Africa

  13. African countries need to have one leader or Blocks of West Africa&East Africa &North Africa& Southern Africa to speak on behalf of the continent at annual UNGA meetings. Individual country speeches is frankly not weighty. Major improvements will start to happen – This is why America will always be America – individual world countries competing against 52 states thus 52 countries. Can’t compete with such a power in economic, political, social etc. on the world stage EVER!

  14. Free And Fair Elections. Popular Vote 🗳. Equal Protections Under The Law. Same Rules. Same Rights. Birth Rights. Freedom lndependence Liberty Happiness For Every Red Blooded Ghanaian 🇬🇭 in The Twenty First Century. TRUISM ✌

  15. Most Importantly. The Good News. Out of Motherland Africa. Asia Europe America. Royalty Majesty. Blacks And Whites. Equal Rights. Human Rights. Great Commandment. Great Commission. Excellency. Multi Multi Billions Making Disciples To All Nations. All Generations Through 🙌Jesus Christ Amen. One Nation Under God. Undivided. Indivisible Indomitable. Sky is The Limit. No Limit. Peace Democracy. TRUISM ✌

  16. I remember over 40 years ago at a local university in the U.S, an African speaker from a sub Sahara nation I can't recall, talking about the need for that nation wanting to establish the ability to take sisal from a raw export which was being brought back as a finished product of, rope, to an export of rope. While I understood the bigger aspect of what this African speaker was saying, I couldn't help but think how backward this nation was in manufacturing for lamenting about something as simple as rope. With thousands of ethnic tribes, thousands of languages, the depth of corruption, Africa will be in a bad situation for decades to come. This has nothing to do about colonial past. Just look at China, Japan, Vietnam post WWII.
