🇧🇧 Barbados – Prime Minister Addresses United Nations General Debate, 76th Session (English) | #UNGA

Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister, Minister for National Security and the Civil Service, and Minister for Finance, Economic Affairs and Investment of Barbados, addresses the general debate of the 76th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (New York, 21-27 September 2021).

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. Currently made up of 193 Member States, the UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter.

The UN has evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world.

But one thing has stayed the same: it remains the one place on Earth where all the world’s nations can gather together, discuss common problems, and find shared solutions that benefit all of humanity.

  3. She is a really gifted speaker. It's not just the words written in text, it's the power and the fierceness of her delivery that forces you to pay attention. She speaks with the gusto of a Queen.

  4. She is so clear about her views in relation to historical and current affairs thus she gives an complete insight into solutions. She's an epitome of strong leadership with adequate knowledge.

  5. Africa 80 per 100 tutti global involvement europea unione como federalismo fragile far right China come solvere Joe baiden kamala Harris io nolosso di piu poveri Africa di piu cazino

  6. What Dope, blowing hot air, empty sounding drum beat. Hot air talk, and talk is always cheap. Barbadian needs proper nutrition, and not gene therapy vaccine. God save you all, Lady Dope with fear mongering..

  7. Thank God that more and more leaders of suppressed countries that they were never allowed to talk or show their feelings about their countries and their people are eventually make us realise what we were missing. Thank God we now do and realise how intelligent and real are although the brainwashing and shameless fake news we were forced to suffer all our lives was telling us the opposite.God bless them and help them to get rid of the tyranny .

  11. If you delight in thrones and scepters, O monarchs over the peoples, honor wisdom, that you may reign for ever. I will tell you what wisdom is and how she came to be, and I will hide no secrets from you, but I will trace her course from the beginning of creation, and make knowledge of her clear, and I will not pass by the truth; neither will I travel in the company of sickly envy, for envy does not associate with wisdom. A multitude of wise men is the salvation of the world, and a sensible king is the stability of his people.

  12. Parabéns pelo trabalho um feliz natal e ano novo e outras comemorações com suas famílias e Amigos eu passo sozinho como muitos no planeta e nos 193 países filiados a ONU que Deus /ala abençoe em todos os idiomas amém

  13. I love this Barbados PM. She is highly intellect and really speaks out her mind. But the first world countries doesnt care because all they care is how much they can make money out of this virus that they created.

  14. No matter how beautiful and factual words of speeches delivered by world leaders in spirit and in earnest, the major polluters will deliver the same political speeches with beautiful words without meaning and spirit. Therefore this speech though beautiful and true, it will also fade into silence and fruitlessness because of what she said. Inaction. Congratulations madam Prime Minister for a beautiful address to the deaf assembly. They could have somebody translate this speech into sign language perhaps the major polluters might understand.

  15. She's so right about how important vaccine equality is, new variants wont stop if only the people in the 1st world can acess them, her point on the tech firms really hit home with me 🇮🇪🇧🇧

  16. One after the other, the Governmental leaders speak of "Global Warming, Tidal Rise, and Climate Change. None of it is TRUE.!!!!! That is why nothing is being done to correct it.!!!! The SUN shines on this planet continuously, the Moon effects the changing tides, and Climates do not change….only the Weather, and there are multiple contributing factors that are constantly changing it everywhere. !!!!!!!

  17. Very hard-hitting speech from PM Mia. She addressed what I have always asked….Why have a national leader do a speech in an empty hall? Until we recognize the ills of this century, then we will be able to do more.

  18. I love this the women speaks truth, powerful their interest is low so the people have to give power to leaders like her by protest then their words of progressives will be taken seriously if not we are doomed

  19. She brings Shirley Chisholm to mind, with her undeniable truth and exposing obvious solutions. Who would refuse this simple call to stop contributing to our own misery, by allowing this situation to continue? She is cognizant of the way folks are feeling, like they are not recognized as endangered, alrhough the urgency is in no way exaggerated. These people must take notice, and We must act, to assure it is well taken, so as the global community prospers.

  20. I pray 🙏🏾 God will grant this great woman PM Mia Mottley control over the means and resources to exercise her stated solutions to solved global problems, in Jesus Name, Amen.

  23. A very strong message that we, the people, must remember and seek to organize in support of it in any way we can, if the ones who the message is directed to do not want to hear it…

  24. G7 wants that we the people live forever
in the 20th Century, only the G7 gets to feel the goodness in life, they forget one
thing we the people are more than G7,
    without us they are zero💀☠
When will be the end of this slavery world.
I Love Madame P.M. Barbados, she speaks the truth♥️🙏
